Three Twisted Knots

The next morning, I was on my way to the archive to do some reading. When I passed the tree, I heard a thud– and I turned to find Prince Blaise lying there on the ground. He looked pretty shaken up, so I ran to see if I could help. I don’t have any healing experience — I did a first aid course once, but that was a long time ago, in uni, and anyway, when we spoke he said it was the result of an attack by a demon! I was pretty spooked, but he said if I saw Aislyn or the Queen to tell them he was here and they would know what to do. We talked for a few minutes, and he told me a little bit about what happened, but I dare not repeat it here; I’m beginning to worry that we really might be in danger — and if someone finds a journal with detailed stories, well. He had a run-in with some demons, and they attacked and hit him, apparently on the tongue. He was spitting up some really gross black stuff. It was scary. I’m only just getting comfortable here. Everybody keeps saying stuff about how I’m safe now. But I’m really not so sure any more.
