If you know me, or even if you’ve looked at this blog, my flickr, or my primfeed profile a couple of times, you know that usually with me, an SL blog post means a story with many supporting pictures. It’s not very often that I take a single photo and just throw it up there, unless something is very special.
This something is very special. I’ve been working with Synjari Myriam as a blogger for a long time. I remember how excited I was to meet her when my friend Scougs introduced us (I fangirled), and I remember what an honour it was to start blogging for her all those years ago.
These days, I’m a lot busier, so my posts aren’t always as frequent as they used to be, because my commitment is to keep the same, if not better, quality and always be learning and improving.
Like most of us, I have a group of creators whom I love, whose work I admire, and I’m friends with some of them. I count myself very fortunate to have such friends. And sometimes one of my friends blows me out of the water with something they create, even though they have a busy real life, are dealing with multiple stressors, and are faced with the kinds of challenges we all face. Yet still the creation happens, and sometimes it happens in an amazing way.
I like to imagine that these six women (and never mind that Lira is a former resident: call it an alternative timeline!) have visited Awenia as a spiritual group, just before Samhain. And what could be more authentically pagan than to get a big group shot in the middle of the night, a few turns of the Realm before Samhain? That’s a great idea! We should all wear the same dress or something!
Senzafine for Trick Or Treat Lane: Severine Gown
My last story post featured the Severine Gown in Spectral, but all the colours are so rich and beautiful I had to do a little more. so I roped five friends (OK, four friends and my alt Avalon) into favouring me and Lira with their time for a group photo shoot. Groups are hard to organise, and with different levels of accustomisation to SL and styling, we took one night to get people ready and another night for actual shooting. Here’s the result, with style card receipts.

Cat, really not sure why she came along on this trip with this bunch of folks she just met for a coven excursion. Cat is wearing: Senzafine Severine Gown in Barrowgold, the hunt colour available at Trick Or Treat Lane either for a L$50 buy or free if you hunt for it! Also wearing the Poison Rouge Coven Night Hat in green. Shes wearing skin by ND/MD, Eboni and I’m not sure wha the hair is, but I’ll ask her and get back to you.
Avalon, pretty sure she wants to carry Cat’s books home from school, is wearing: Senzafine Severine Gown in Voidkiss. Her hat is Una’s Enchantress Hat in Black. Hair is Nova, Mauve. Her glasses are Azaran’s Maya Glasses, Jewellery is from Sigma (Dune choker & pendant), and the striking tattoo (which includes the black hands and fingers) is Nefekalum’s Sidhe #6.
Ember, who organised this whole thing along with Lira (next to her), is 100% certain that everything is going according to plan. Surely this photograph will make the Pagan Times cover! She is wearing: Senzafine Severine Gown in Abyssal. Her hat is Tentacio’s Belinda, and her Magical Talking Raven from CKit Falconry is perched atop it. Her hair is No Match, No Ember, and the glasses come from Pixel Box, the Library Glasses. The visible earring is Evado Daniel Earring.
Lira, who is pretty sure Ember organised the whole thing and just swept her along, is wearing: Senzafine Severine Gown in Darklight. Her hat is BlueBlood’s Lunar Hat (she likes purple), and shes wearing earrings (Hex & Hisses) from FaeTal, glasses (Opium) from Air, and necklace (Thyria) from Drunken Brokkr. The chest tattoo is /safe for mortals/‘ acquainted with the night, and most of the makeup and face tats are from /safe for mortals/ as well, with the exception of Cazimi’s Siren Lips.
Kela, far more interested in whispering sweet nothings (or perhaps sweet somethings) into Ashley’s ear than holding still for this photo, is wearing: Senzafine Severine Gown in Celestial. Her hat is from Tentacio, the Familiar Witch hat in Black. Her hair is Rama, Seyeon, her collar is the Oblivis Solem Deviltrap Collar, and the most visible tattoo she’s wearing is the captivating bat freckles from /safe for mortals/. The Lust Demon legs, tail, and wings are from Axis Mundi.
Ashley, currently being wholly distracted by Kela and thinking she might want to go someplace more comfortable, is wearing: Senzafine Severine Gown in Bloodvow. Her hat is also the Tentacio Familiar Witch Hat (sans pumpkins). I’ll update this style card when I can.
